While Castle Rock may be a thriving community, the Town’s western heritage is alive and well. Don’t miss the weekend of activities to celebrate Douglas County’s history and honor a longstanding tradition – this year marks the 100th year of the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo. Western Heritage Welcome kicks off the celebration. Cowboys and city folk alike are invited to join the celebration.
The Douglas County Fair and Rodeo Parade starts at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 27. The old-fashioned parade starts on the south end of Town and continues through Downtown. More at castlerock.org.
Following the parade, join an old-fashioned-themed fair at Boots and Brews. The festival will have food trucks, beer and live music in Festival Park. Get all the details at downtowncastlerock.com.
