Tunes for Trails, Perks for Parks free concert series brought to you by 8z Real Estate

Tunes for Trails, Perks for Parks - CRgov.com/trailtunes

Nothing says summertime quite like a concert under the stars. Tunes for Trails, Perks for Parks is returning to Philip S. Miller Park this year with four free concerts from May to August. The series kicks off Wednesday, May 29, with The Petty Nicks Experience – a cover band featuring the hits of Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks.

The Petty Nicks Experience recreates an authentic show with vintage wardrobe and instruments and a set list full of songs people know and love. Come free fall into summer with a night of dancing, food, drinks and family entertainment.

The concerts run from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park. Open seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. So, come early and enjoy yard games, bounce houses and grab a bite to eat. Local breweries and vendors will have food and drinks available for purchase. Attendees are also welcome to pack a picnic, excluding outside liquor.

This year’s series sponsor is 8z Real Estate. Donations and a percentage of proceeds from liquor sales will benefit the Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation in its work to enrich the Town’s parks, trails and recreational spaces.

The foundation is currently fundraising for exciting park enhancements, such as an outdoor FitGround workout area at Philip S. Miller Park. To learn more about the foundation, visit getoutdoorscastlerock.org
